Contacting extensometers are designed to make accurate deformation and extension measurements of a sample whose thickness can be up to 25 mm.

Contacting extensometers are available in various dimensions.

Precision extensometers are designed to test a wide range of materials such as metal, plastics, composites and ceramics and they work in cyclic test mode.

These extensometers work both in tension and compression.
The high frequency operation is due to its double-flexed structure, with vibration resistance. Every extensometer is equipped with a kit that allows a rapid mounting. This kit is removable if you want to asseble the device with springs and rubber bands.
Operating temperature range of these extensometers goes from -265° to +200°.
