Chatillon | LG Mechanical Force Gauges

LG series is an excellent and cheap solution for tensile or compressive tests. These mechanlical force meters have a dial of 2,25 inches and they adapt naturally to the hand for a comfortable and firm grip, even with maximum loads.

Chatillon LG series is a low cost force measurement solution, ideal for a wide range of force test applications.

These mechanical force meters have an accuracy of +0,5 % of the full scale; also, they have a peak maintenance button in order to acquire peak readings and an easy return to zero. The concentric dial works only in clockwise direction and it rotates 360 degrees for the calibration. A mechanical overload function protects the tool from damages.

The mechanical force meter adapts naturally to the hand for a comfortable and firm grip, even with very high loads. It can also be assembled on a test bench for a even better control of the tool and coherent results in repetitive tests applications.

Apply a tensile force to disconnect cables and pipes and register the maximum traction needed. Check the functioning of the “go/no go” switch or asseble on a test bench to verify the compressive force required to graft a switch.
