TCM motorized stands feature a small footprint while still retaining ample space for large samples. With an ideal throat clearance of 100 mm (3.9 in), large sample testing is no longer a limitation. The universal plate with ASM and metric threads offers maximum flexibility for the installation of custom and standard fixtures.
These motorized stands feature tactile feedback buttons with no moving parts or membranes. This maximizes durability, especially in production environments, and ensures that the buttons can be easily cleaned. Tactile feedback alerts the user that the command has been received via vibration. The TCM series force testers can also be operated with an optional foot controller.
A bright digital LED display indicates travel speed and other text messages so that the user can constantly monitor the status of the TCM tester. Integrated high return speed to maximize productivity. Adjustable upper and lower mechanical limit switches are integrated for safety and are used for different modes of operation such as cycles and return to zero.
TCM series motorized force testers are available in two versions; the TCM100 with a force capacity of up to 500 N (100 lbf) and the TCM350 with a capacity of up to 1500 N (350 lbf).
Both force testers feature a standard 406 mm (16 in) crosshead travel and are available in extended versions, with 812 mm (32 in) crosshead travel.
A throat depth of 100 mm (3.9 in) allows the operator to perform strength tests including tension, compression, bending, flaking, adhesion, insertion and extraction on specimens up to 200 mm (7.8 in). This leaves the operator with a wide range of test options over a large work area while maintaining a small footprint.
Travel speed is adjustable from 5 to 1016 mm / min (0.2 to 40 inches / min).
