Bollard grips ideal for testing ropes and wires of natural, polymer or metallic fibre. They are equipped with a load reduction roller and a clamping wedge in order to block the sample to test. The clamping force comes from the friction produced through the winding of the test piece around the circumference of the roller and from the grip exerted by the wedge.
