Wedge grips for tensile tests on wire, plastic, metal and rubber. The mechanical wedge grips offer an easy insertion of the piece, the sample’s auto-alignment and placement in the center. The clamping force increases as the load rises, ideal for tightening materials that are difficult to clamp. The wedge grips’ jaws are spring loaded on the upper part and they offer a big mechanical advantage because of the lateral sliding of the wedges along the two inclined planes in the clamp body.
