TA-Tronic
General features
The connection with the spindle of the machine tool is through a cone for the rotation of the rotating body and a flange for fixing the fixed body on the fixed part of the machine. A simple anti-rotation pin can be used for low-load operations.
There are two possibilities for controlling TA-Tronic heads:
- provide for the direct connection to the "U" axis of the numerical control of the machine tool which allows boring, internal, external, and sub-quadrant beveling, internal and external turning, channels, phonographic spirals, threads, and tapered reaming; conical reaming also variable, concave and convex radii by interpolation with the other axes
- With the U-CONTROL positioner with REMOTE-CONTROL wireless. The positioner can be connected to the M functions of the machine control to receive start signals of the various operations programmed on the REMOTE-CONTROL. This solution allows boring operations, internal, external, and sub-quadrant brazing, internal and external turning, channels, phonographic spirals, threads and tapered reaming but it is not possible to perform spherical machining.
REFRIGERANT LIQUID SUPPLY
In the TA-TRONIC the coolant comes out of two adjustable nozzles placed on the side of the sled after passing through the cone and the rotating head. This remarkable advantage ensures a longer life of the insert, higher cutting speed, and the achievement of good surface finishes.
The centralized supply of the coolant does not damage the TA-TRONIC whose internal labyrinths are protected by sealing rings. It is advisable not to exceed 40 BAR of pressure.
BILANCING
The TA-TRONIC heads have been designed with two counterweights for automatic balancing, which move in the opposite direction to the slide allowing to work at a high number of revolutions without appreciable oscillations.
TOOL APPLICATIONS
Standard tools can be mounted on the tool holders to perform simple and multiple machining of internal and external turning, conical boring even variable, concave and convex radii, channels, cylindrical and conical threads, facets, phonographic spirals.
