LLOYD | Video Extensometers

Lloyd VE1: high-precision video extensometer.
It makes contactless optical measurements thanks to the camera and the real time elaboration of the pictures, in order to measure the longitudinal and transverse deformation during the traction tests.
VE1 extensometers offers high-precision solutions, preparation of easy samples and a software with an intuitive user interface.

The video extensometer measures the length between two lines applied at an up to 100 Hz frequency.
Deformation data is transferred to NEXYGEN Plus software. You can measure a 20 um/m deformation up to over 1000%.
System calibration supplies measurements from few mm to multiple of meter.
VE1 video extensometer saves the pictures taken during the tensile testing and it can register until the breakage of the sample.

It has a wide application area and it can test many materials such as metals, rigid plastic, composite products, ceramics, thick films etc in both ambient and non-ambient temperature.

In order to facilitate easy and quick measurements, there are available a set of models for different test configurations and applications.
The video extensometer is available in six different sizes of lens.
